More and more people want to buy famous brands with clothes,
car and other items. What are the reason? Do you think it is a
positive or negative development?
In the era of modernization and globalization, a large number of buyers
are having a tendency which possesses well-known brands with outfits,
cars and other items due to ample postive aspects. From my perspective,
I would firmly advocate that owning lavish items may have negative
influences on our society for several reasons
On the one hand, there are various reasons why people have access to the trend of
shopping for brand-name products. There is evidence to support the idea that
reputable brands would contribute to a great sense of satisfaction for consumers,
since they would offer high-quality and reliable products. A typical example of this
is that famous brands such as Zara and H & M always focus on choosing materials
which may flatter a shopper's body. Furthermore, for many people, branded
products are the source of showing off their prosperity and social status. For
instance, a person who drives a Mecedes would be held in high regard because of
his wealth. As a result, many people are influenced by what others think of them,
which encourages them to purchase high-value items.

On the other hand, I personally contend that substantial disadvantages are more
apparent because many people misspend a great deal of money on high-priced
commodities frivolously, even though there are many companies available which
offer the same facilities at a justificable price. Furthermore, many young people
have a tendency to run after the latest devices, including mobile phones and
laptops, most of which cost more than normal ones. Many youngsters do not take it
into consideration carefully, which may sink them into financial problems. To
illustrate, it is not uncommon for young people with an unstable income in
Vietnam to squander a great deal of money, which might double their average
monthly salaries, to own the latest cutting edge iPhone when their old phones still
operate perfectly.
In conclusion, with the consumption of brand name products becoming
increasingly, I would firmly reaffirm that negative consequences
outweigh positive developments in the long term
