Q#04: SDRAM and its types

DDR1,2,3,4,5

Answer:
Types of SDRAM
Introduced many successive families of SDRAM to provide better performance.
Different versions of s drama are as follows:
SDR SDRAM
SDR SDRAM means single data rate synchronized dynamic random access memory.
For the first time, introduce this ram. Today, this ram has been replaced by many other
types.
Types of DDR
DDR 1
DDR SDRAM means double data rate synchronized dynamic random access memory. It
is also called DDR1 SDRAM. The speed of data transfer in this is twofold as compared to
the traditional s DRAM. This data reads or writes two words per hour cycle.
DDR2
DDR2 stands for double data rate2 synchronous dynamic random access memory. It is
similar to DDRS drama but it reads or writes four words of data per clock cycle. Ddr2
SDRAM was introduced in 2003.
DDR3
DDR3 SDRAM stands for double data rate3 synchronous dynamic random access
memory. It once again writes by doubling the speed of reading, that is, you can say that
DDR3 per hour cycle can read or write eight words. Also, ram's performance and speed
are improved.
DDR4
DDR4 SDRAM stands for double data rate4 synchronous dynamic random access
memory. Introduced in the second half of 2014. Ddr4 provides performance and speed
improvement compared to different versions of SDRAM.
