Two Little Tortoise

One sunny afternoon, two tortoises Ben and Gren, were talking to each other near the shore. Ben said, “I can swim faster
than you”. Gren said, “No, I can swim faster than you”. Shark Murphy was swimming nearby. He was listening to both of
the tortoises arguing. He swam to them and said, “why don’t you two have a race?”. They thought that was a great idea.
Little did they know that the shark wanted to eat the two tortoises. As they jumped into the water, the shark said, “now
swim as fast as you can”. “Whoever is slower I will eat him first”. Ben and Gren looked at each other scared. “Swim Ben!
Swim as fast as you can,” shouted Gren. “Gren, you also need to swim quickly,” yelled Ben. Both the turtles knew they
were in big trouble. They swam and swam until they got to a narrow tunnel. Gren said to Ben, “let’s get in the tunnel”.
They got into the tunnel and shark Murphy couldn’t catch them.

Lazy Henry

Henry was a big boy. He had dark brown hair and freckles on his cheeks. He did not help anyone because he was too lazy.
Whenever mum or dad asked him to help with the chores, he would make excuses and runaway. Henry’s favourite hobby
was eating delicious food. He ate so much that his parents Saida and Bob were worried about him. His father told one of
his relatives that he once ate a whole chicken alone. Henry’s mother explained to Henry that eating too much is bad for
health. She also told him that they cannot afford to waste so much money on food. Father Bob was the only one working
in the household. But Henry didn’t listen to anyone. He just loved eating things. Mother Saida told Henry to help father in
the garden. He did not listen to mother. One day, Saida and Bob decided not to cook any food for their lazy child. They
told Henry to help with the chores and then mother will cook food. At first, he didn’t care but as time passed, he started to
feel hungry. Henry became really sad. He realized that he was at fault. He finally went to the garden and helped his father.
Saida and Bob were happy to see a changed Henry. Henry said sorry to his parents. He told them that he will never be
lazy again.
