Against one of the most solid defense of Black, D)
we chose an interesting line that normally leads 6...Bd7 7.0-0 Qc7 8.c3 e5 9.d3 Bd6
to open and fighting positions: 1.e4 c6 2.Nc3 d5 10.cxd4 cxd4 11.Bd2² Boleslavsky,I-Kan,V/
3.Nf3. This line gained popularity after it has Kiev 1944 ]
been used by Tal, Keres and especially Fischer. [ 3...g6 4.h3 (after 4.d4 Black can play Bg4 )
Nowadays a lot of grandmasters regularly use it. 4...Bg7 5.d4 leads to the line 1.e4 g6 2.d4
Being less frequently played than the lines 2.d4 ¥g7 3.¤c3 c6 4.¤f3 d5 5.h3 that will be
d5 3.e5 or 2.d4 d5 3.Nc3/Nd2 4.dxe4 Bf5/Nd7, separately analysed in a further opening
the Two Knights Variation is expected to put survey. ]
