higher. Not sure how much files we tried, yet. but as said the architecture scales

A: #there is no limit on the size of the drive. It is more a matter how long
your backup will take for a huge volume. So far the backup is in one stream. But we
have performance topics on our todo list##

Q: #is there any rule of thumb to estimate space in SPP DB for the file index
metadata db ?####
A: #The meta data DB created for the new file backup is stored in the vSnap.
You do not have to plan any space in SPP itself for that. But it is a good point
that we should provide some estimates. ##

we in an explicit "include" approach rather ?####
A: #we have some default excludes, like Recycle Bin. But there is (as of now)
no central exclude list.##

A: #yes, you can use dedup, compression and encryption. Also copy to cloud

A: #the SPP agent is traversing the file system, like the B/A client does.
And it compares the found files with the state of the files from the last backup.
If it is new or changed, it is backed up. If it is no longer there, it is expired.

pick an earlier backup, which still had the deleted file. ###

A: #the restore job will remain for ever. This is like a test restore of a
