only based on folklore but also
on religious ceremonies
practiced by its people from
prehistoric times to the
contemporary period.
One of the art forms Indonesia
is famous for is the batik. Batik
is the method of dyeing mainly
on cottons in the traditional color
of blue, brown and red, in which
patterned areas are covered
with wax.
Batik is the trademark of Indonesian culture.
