Ethos:

4. Yes— dentists are expert in field

6. As a human and this is my body I suggest you let me get a tattoo
because it will be important to me.
7. Animal research is based on a false idea: that the results obtained from
non-human animals can be applied to the human body. The reactions of
animals to drugs, vaccines and experiments not only differ from those of
humans, but differ from species to species. Not taking into account this
profound difference has been and still is very costly for human health.

6. Honestly I think that you should stop eating chocolate because its
bad for your health. According to the American Society for
Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, chocolate decreases esophageal
sphincter pressure, a change that can make you vulnerable to
heartburn. Therefore, you should stop eating chocolate because it
can cause heartburn and other related heart problems.
7. Never, and I repeat never drink in drive. It is very dangerous. You
can put yourself in danger or even others. You can get in trouble
with the law, if caught so no drink and drive
8. If you exercise more often, you can have a better heart rate, lose
fat, and you will live longer as well.
Pathos:
1. Overemphasizes danger w/o coverage. Appeals to sense of fear; compels
reader to get life insurance; guilt, security
2. The underlined word compels readers to act against whatever the source is
that makes them feel taken advantage of; Oppression, empathy, advocacy
3. Appealing to patriotism of democracy. Compels audience to donate; safety,
pride
4. Appealing to pity/guilt for complaining. Compels audience to eat food/be
grateful; conviction
5. Appeals to parenting instinct for their future generations. Compels the
audience to take care of the environment and ecosystem.

Unfortunately, you aren't privileged enough to do so. Instead of
making a difference in the future, another less educated career
path is chosen. What if you could travel back in time, and gain
those privileges by getting a tutor. Here's your chance to change
the futures of children everywhere. By volunteering to tutor these
underprivileged youth, you can help them accomplish their
