Community Affairs, Services and Events Committee

1) To receive a report from the Administration on their policy of locking city parks.

The City has 13 athletic fields and facilities, five green spaces within 24 parks. Six of the 13 athletic
facilities are enterprise facilities and are unlocked when they are reserved by payment or council-
approved agreement. Three of the 24 park facilities are opened from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. daily. The green
spaces are open for practice or other play at any time.
