Speech Production
When conversing our thoughts into spoken words, we may be using repetitions. This is for us
to ensure listener understands more of what we are saying. Repetitions are used to emphasize more
on what we are saying. In our country, Malaysia, English is the second language for most of us
including myself. When we start learning a new language, we tend to use more of repetition when
speaking. The reason is simple, we want others to understand what we are saying. When we are
speaking in our first language, we tend to speak faster and more confident. Furthermore, our
vocabulary is higher when speaking our first language. This results in using repetitions in our speech
production.
All in all, we can conclude that speech perception and production involve certain process for
it to be fully understood by the listener. There are a lot of factors that can influence the efficiency of
our thoughts. As until this day, there are still research going on to learn more of language perception
and production. The contrast between picking single word over another can be as huge as a crowd of
people part recollecting your show or failing to remember anything. Taking a couple of additional
minutes to add some similar sounding word usage or to check for language that may annoy others is
time all around spent. The following time you need to compose or talk about an issue, recollect the
significance of language and its effect on our lives cautiously consider what language will you use
and how might those language decisions have an effect in how your crowds characterizes and
comprehends your theme.
