The GAI Management

This document must be read by all members.
INTRODUCTION:

Green Airlines Inc. is a virtual low-cost airline based in the Philippines, founded in
2013 as Hetzair Airways Company. GAI commenced its first flight last October 1, 2018 under
its current name Green Airlines, which aims to provide transportation to anywhere worldwide,
and to simulate virtual airline operations. We currently operate on multiple flight simulator
platforms, namely Real Flight Simulator (RFS-Rortos), Microsoft Flight Simulator X, X-Plane,
Lockheed Martin Prepar3D, and others.

1. GAI FLEET

The GAI Commercial Fleet is currently composed of the following aircraft:

These aircraft are free to use on every flight simulator platforms. Liveries are named
GREEN AIRLINES, or GREEN AIRLINES INC (for A320) in RFS. Prepar3d/FSX/X-Plane 11
liveries are available in our Livery Resources Center. Link is available here:

2. AIRLINE FACILITIES AND BASES

GAI operates the following hubs in the Philippines

• Manila (Terminal 3) • Kalibo


• Cebu (Terminal 2) • Davao
• Clark • Puerto Princesa
• Sangley (Propeller aircraft) • Iloilo

GAI maintains all aircraft, including those of partner airlines, through maintenance facilities
operated by the 450th Maintenance Wing and 25th Aircraft Painting Squadron. GAI operates
maintenance facilities in the following locations:

• Clark (RPLC) – Headquarters, Narrowbody/Widebody Maintenance Base/Paintshop


• Vladivostok (UHWW) –Widebody and Narrowbody Maintenance Base
• Cebu (RPVM) – Narrowbody Maintenance Base/Paintshop

3. GAI PILOT TRAINING

The airline offers an optional training for old and new VATSIM and RFS members who
wish to improve their knowledge in flying various aircraft, including commercial and general
aviation aircraft. The training is conducted by the GAI 39th Training School (GAI T. S.), and is
encouraged for members who wish to transfer to VATSIM as they require a higher level of
knowledge in flying.
4. CALLSIGN CONVENTION

Upon joining the group, you will be assigned a “personal permanent callsign”, which
you will use when you are flying with GAI. Callsigns are permanent for all members. These are
used for pilot identification and are not transferable between active members.

The airline utilizes a callsign convention, for uniformity and easy identification. These
callsigns shall be observed and followed when flying with GAI

(The x denotes your personal callsign. To use, substitute the x with your callsign e.g.: GAI662,
GAI736, GAI5103, etc.)

GAI8xx This callsign will never fly. Used for ground tests and/or pictorials
GAI9xx Flying an aircraft not part of the GAI Fleet
GAI0xx Solo/Recreation/General Aviation/Test Flights
GAIxxH HGC Corporate Flight
GAIxxTS GAI Training Flight
5. GROUP FLIGHTS

Group flights are regularly conducted within the airline. We are planning many group
flights every now and then. Please stay tuned to our GC or in the Announcements and News
channel in our official Discord server.

6. AIRLINE PARTNERSHIPS

GAI is a member of the AVIADOR_PH Airline Alliance, while GAI Cargo is a member
of the Pacific Freight Group.

We are also a partner airline of:

• Star Pacific • Hungarian Airways
• HyperTransit Corp. (parent company • AeroPanay Inc.
of HyperAviation)
7. PILOT RANKINGS

Pilot ranks are currently used only within RFS and VATSIM divisions. This is the
current ranking system implemented by GAI:

Ranks below the regular ranks (those with ratings) are only applicable to members
within the VATSIM division, after they have graduated from their respective pilot trainings.
These are also assigned for real-world pilots with their corresponding licenses.

Only recorded flight hours are counted, and members shall provide a clean flight
record in order for their flight hours to be added and a rank to be awarded.

8. RFS PILOTS

All GAI RFS PRO members shall join our Virtual Airline group in RFS, named “Green
Airlines Inc.” The Group password will be given by the Chief Operations Officer (COO), RFS.

9. AIRLINE RULES AND REGULATIONS

GROUP MEMBER RULES (R)

R1. Green Airlines Inc. - GAI is an independent fictional virtual airline. We also conduct
flight operations virtually.
R2. Off-topics are always welcome in the group chat and public communications channels
in the Discord server. Also, please do respect every member.
R3. General disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. This includes trash talking and
impersonating another member in the VATSIM network.
R4. Privacy protection is paramount. Inadvertent release of sensitive and private
information about the airline is prohibited and is considered as espionage.
R5. Any group disputes are reviewed by the Admins. In line of this, the Chairman's
decision shall be final and irrevocable.
R6. Members, especially the new ones, should join or fly any flights organized by the
airline.
R7. Political topics are strictly prohibited for all sides. We respect your opinion, but please
don’t share it here. This is an aviation-related group, not a politics group.
R8. The GAI callsign convention shall be always followed.
R9. The GAI Management has the right to remove members from the group if necessary.
R10. Important rule: Enjoy your flight!
AIRLINE REGULATIONS (G)

G1. Leaving the main group chat suddenly without prior notice automatically means that
you have left the airline. You will be subsequently removed from the FB Group and
Discord server.
G2. The maximum aircraft taxi speed in a straight taxiway is 30 knots. On tight turns, the
maximum taxi speed is 10 knots.
G3. All GAI pilots are advised to avoid sleeping or leaving the aircraft unattended below
10,000 feet altitude.
G4. The official measurement system used by GAI are the following: Airspeed: Knots (Kt);
Air distance: Nautical miles (nm); Aircraft/payload weight: Kilograms (Kg); Altitude:
Feet (Ft); Ground distances: Meters (m); Temperature: Degrees Celsius (°C); Basic
unit of time: Seconds (s); Altimeter Barometric pressure: Hectopascals (hPa) or milibar
(mb).
G5. During turbulent parts of the flight at cruising altitude, the seatbelt signs must be
turned on.
G6. When in ATC contact, all pilots are advised to listen, understand, and follow the
controller’s instructions, and promptly advise when unable to carry out the instruction.
G7. The head flight dispatcher has the right to plan group flights independent of the
Management.

VATSIM PILOT REGULATIONS (V)

V1. All VATSIM member pilots are bound by the VATSIM Code of Conduct. Thus, all
members flying in VATSIM should follow the rules and regulations set by the network.
V2. It is advised for all VATSIM pilots flying to have airport charts on hand.
V3. All members are advised to ensure sufficient vertical and horizontal separation during
group flights. It is recommended for all group flight participants to fly in different flight
levels to prevent collisions.

PENALTIES AND PUNISHMENTS

P1. Immediate kick and ban penalties for violations of rules R3, R4, and R9 depending
on the gravity of the offense.
P2. Reprimands for rules R5, R7, R8, and G1-7.

10. THE GAI MANAGEMENT

Positions in the GAI Management is appointed only by the Founder. All appointees in
any position are required to take their own oath of office to be administered by a high official of
The GAI Management. The GAI Management has the power to accept and reject membership
applications, and may execute the removal of a member violating the airline rules and
regulations.
