Our A/W 21/22 womenswear palette is split into two
themes – one featuring grounded and nostalgic hues that
feel comforting and familiar, and the other with saturated
colours inspired by digital culture. These tones offer plenty
of opportunity for dramatic contrast, mixing deep darks
and brights, as well as calmer tonal pairings of baked mid-
tones.
1 . Make your pastels more pretty: after several seasons
of grittier and greyed off pastels, clean and feminine
levels re-emerge with stronger inherent colour. Lilac and
laundered greens are the colours to have on your radar.
2 . Embrace bold brights for party drops: introduce an
element of play through the use of bold hues that would
normally be used out of season. Champion the use
brights inspired by digital culture and tech.
3 . Be bold in exploring alternatives to black: hyper-
saturated greens and enriched browns emerge as
commercial alternatives to black.
4 . Be sustainable when creating palettes: keep
sustainability at the heart of your decision making,
whether that's continuing last season's key seller or
developing a more robust core palette.
