1. As we can see in this picture there is a lot of people playing, buying foods,
walking, across the pedestrian lane and etc. Many noice in the crowd that
you can hear from the children who were playing and shouting. And this
community are too big and dangerous as well because you’ll not know that
the accident may happened coz’ we can not avoid it.
2. This picture describe how peaceful their community is because they
manage it well and you also feel free and comfortable with some fresh air.
There place wherever you look around it so clean and organized and thoe
people as you can see they’re simple and well-mannered.

ACTIVITY 1
We make decisions every day as students that will affect the rest of our lives.
Every decision we make has a long-term impact on our future, our social impact,
and how others see us. That is why we need to grow as individuals. Even a simple
thought might create a lifetime goal – whether positive or negative. When we
help others in our communities, we are affecting ourselves in a positive way that
can last a lifetime. Your future is shaped by every single thought, word, action,
and habit you have. These pictures describe my community were the people are
very approachable and kind to others. When it comes to the program most of the
people joining the events were the barangay officials implement, it’s not just
having fun but you can also learn to boost your confidence by participating in any
programs.
PROCESSING QUESTIONS
1. 'Civic duty' includes community involvement. It's about doing things in our
communities because we want to help others or give back to our
communities, not because we have to by law.
2. The community makes up of our barangay officials who help us to make our
community be in peace and good surroundings.
3. Yes, I am a part of the community. Following community rules and taking
part in any action for betterment of the community are the factors that
make a vibrant member of society. And also helping other people without
in return can be important because as a daughter, my parents taught me to
help other people who needed my help and that’s what I’m doing. I know
that someday, all of the thing that I do will be worth it.

ACTIVITY 2
 A community is a collection of individuals who get together to work toward
a shared purpose, share common ideas, and help one another through
difficult times. To me, the community is a feeling of support from a large
number of individuals who are simply embracing us and supportive and
loving of us.

1. Yes, I consider my school to be a community because we interacted and
shared information with each other in school especially to our second
parents which is our teacher, similar to how we shared information inside
and outside our homes.

1. Non-government Organizations (NGOs) and people’s organizations (POs)
are common example of civil society organization.
2. These organizations actively pursue political and social development goals
through a variety of actions and strategies.
3. The type of issues do the NGOs and POs in our community is the social
movement were it is a form of collective behavior which springs largely
from the attitudes and aspirations of its participants. Social movements are
formed when civil society organizations and non-affiliatedd individual share
sentiments, views approaches, and solutions in addressing issues and
problem of society.
ACTIVITY 5
 The health of a community is made up of many different yet interconnected
elements. A healthy community is one in which everyone can meet their
basic requirements, including economic, social, physical, cultural, and
spiritual.
ACTIVITY 6
There are four structural dimensions that lend insight in understanding the
dynamics and development of a community – geographic, socio-political,
economic, and cultural.
Geographic dimension in a community focuses on how a community is shaped by
the physical space it uses and the location of its resources- human, natural, and
technological.
Socio-political dimension refers to the relationship of power and control between
individual and groups in a community.
Economic dimension refers to the means by which members of a community
allocate, produce, and distribute scarce resources to address their wants and
needs.
Cultural dimension refers to the people’s way of life and it encompasses the
values and beliefs that are passed on from one generation to another.
ACTIVITY 7
Formal institutions are characterized by institutionally structured hierarchies,
which define the relationship between authorative and subordinate actors and
group while the informal institutions are seen to typically operate through socio-
cultural mechanisms, within the community structure, interrelationship thrive
through loose connections, such as social networks and personal relationships.
