We have studied English with Luis Alexander. / We have been studying English with Luis
Alexander.

My brother has slept for ten hours / My brother has been sleeping since he arrived.

So far, I have learned many verbs and I have been improving my English level.

family.

Five ways to make new friends.

 Everyone wants to make friends. We suggest following these principles: Decide to be

friendly to everyone you meet. Take advantage of every opportunity.
 Even if you don´t feel like socializing, learn to show interest in at lest one new person
every day don´t expect every new acquaintance to become a real friend, but if you would
like to meet new friends, this is a good way to start.
 Be sure to ask new acquaintances questions about themselves. People enjoy talking about
themselves.
 Avoid talking too much about yourself. Practice asking people about their interests and
opinions before you begin to tell them about your own.
 If you decide to get together later, plan to do something you both like. If your new friend
has different interests from yours, say you don´t mind trying something new.

Conversation about likes and dislikes.

Kevin: So, tell me something about yourself.

Jenn: What would you like to know?

Kevin: well, for instance, what do you like doing in your free time?

Jenn: Let´s see. Most of all, I enjoy playing tennis. I think it´s relaxing. What about you?

Kevin: Well, I find tennis a little boring. But I do love going to the movies.

Jenn: So do I. We should go to the movies together sometime, then.
