India Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (AISSCE) of the

SCHOOL DISCIPLINE
Rules
1. The pupils must be in their class rooms at the stroke of the
first bell at 9.00am and those who come early are expected to
sit in their class rooms and prepare their lesson in silence
2. When there is a school assembly all should march to the place
assigned for each class and arrange themselves acccording to
their height, After the prayer there may be short instructions
and important announcements.
3. All assignments shall be regularly done and submitted.
4. Students are not allowed to bring razer blades or any sharp
instruments to the school
5. Students should feel it below their dignity to shout, quarrel ,
disturb, the peace of others , use obscene language and the like
6. Students are not supposed to loiter on veranda during class
hours
7. Students are not supposed to play inside the class room
8.Lost and found articles and money should immediately be
handed over to the principal office.
9.Students are newly admitted at the beginning of academic
year on the basis of their performance in the entrance test and
interview conducted by the school.
10. The school expects parents to encourage their children to
speak English both in campus and outside.
11. Students are advised to ‘KEEP LEFT’ while walking on cor-
ridors and staircases, running or shouting inside the school
building classrooms or playing in the class rooms is not
allowed.
12. As long as you study in this school, love the school and try
to see that the reputation of the school is kept at very high index.
For this all must keep away from activities that discredit the
school.

13.Every student of this school is expected to be courteous in talk and

behaviour at all times. They must use polite expressions like ‘Excuse
me’, ‘Thank You’ , ‘Sorry’ , ‘Please’ etc... as and when necessary.
Students are expected to get up from their seats when a Teacher or a
visitor enters the room or place where they happen to be and stand
erect when spoken to. They must always remember to maintain queue
system wherever necessary for eg. while waiting to enter the bus.
14. Cleanliness of person and dress is expected of every syudent. The
uniform must be clean, well dressed and complete at all times and it
should confirm to the standard laid on by the school. Boys are
prohibited from coming to school in fancy hair styles, very low waist
boot cut trousers, flashy belts and designer shoes.
15. Withdrawal of children from the class during school hours is not
permitted.
ABSENCE AND LEAVE
1. Regular attendance is expected from every student and no student

shall be absent himself from his/her class without the prior permission
of the Class Teacher or the Principal. If prior permission can’t be
obtained for reasons beyond the control, an application for leave signed
by parent or guardian should be sent to the principal on the first day
of absence.
2. Class Teachers are authorised to grant leave of absence for pupils
for two days provided thay are not the days of examination. Leave
application for three days and more should be sent to the principal.
3. Repeated absence without leave or unexplained absence for more
than fourteen consecutive days renders the students liable to have
his/her name struck of rolls. Readmission may be granted only on a
satisfactory explanation by Parents/ Guardians.
4. Absence from examinations without leave and at the reopening of
classes after the holidays will be viewed seriously. In the case of illness,
a medical certificate should be submitted.

LIBRARY
1. All the students and the members of the staff are expected to
use the School Library regularly.
2. Students are allowed to borrow only one book at a time and
retain them for a period of one week. The Librarian may call
for a book borrowed by any member even before the expiry of
normal period of one week.
3. Reference books should not be taken out of the library.
4. If the borrowed books are not returned to the library on the
due date a fine of Rs.5/- per day will be imposed.
5. Borrowers are required to examine the books at the time of
borrowing and report to the Librarian any damage, loss of
pages, pictures...etc noticed.
6. Books borrowed shall be kept neatly. Avoid marking
underlining or defacing the books.
7. If the books are lost, damaged or badly handed their full cost
with fine will be levied from the borrower. The decision of the
principal in this matter will be final and binding.
8. Library books will be issued from the first of June. All books
borrowed must be returned to the Library by the end of Febru-
ary every year.
STUDY TOUR
The School has a programme of study tour which provide the

children with opportunities to visit places of historical,
educational and ecological significance. The amount to cover
the expense will be collected at the time of the tour which
usually falls in second term of academic year. Short study trips
are also arranged occasionally.

FINES AND BREAKAGE RECOVERY
Certain other fines are also levied. These are not for the sake of
revenue but to promote orderliness, discipline and good behaviour
among the students. These fines are recovered for lack of uniform,
misuse of library and books, late attendance and mis conduct.
The cost of school property broken, lost, disfigured or
destroyed must be paid.

brought in washable tiffin boxes and not in Paper/
Plastic packets and plantain leaves as this creates
serious pollution problem.

School is also providing first aid and necessary help for taking the
needy student to hospital. The hospital expenses must be reimbursed
by parents.
BIRTHDAY : The birthday of every student is celebrated by greeting

him or her in the school assembly and that day he/she is allowed to
wear colour dress. The students can contribute an amount in the
charity box. ( Not Compulsory) kept for charitable purposes. This fund
will be utilized for deserving people.

Open house is a facility provided on notified days for all
parents along with their wards to interact with the teachers
and signing progress cards.
CLUB ACTIVITIES
The school has the following various academic co-curricu-
lar and advisory organizations for all round development
of students.
1. MUN
2. Eco Club.
3. Maths Club.
4. Literary Club.
SUGGESTIONS TO PARENTS:-
1. Parents are requested not to compare one child with
another as they come from different backgrounds,
capacities and interests. If the children complain about
school matters, parents are requested to inform the
principal of such matters and withhold their judgement
until proper investigation is made.
2. If your child has habits or traits which need special observation or
care, the primcipal may be taken into confidence.
3. Parents are expected to co-operate with the school
authorities by ensuring punctuality and discipline by seeing
that their children prepare their lessons and take active
participation in school activities.
4. Parents are advised to attend the parent teacher meeting
regularly.

5. Any parent deciding to take his ward out during school hours
must get the prior permission from Principal.
6. Parents must take care that their ward is not wearing
valuable ornaments in the campus.
7. Occasional reports from teachers are made in the school hand
book. Parents are requested to sign as proof that they have
read them.
8. Private tuitions are not encouraged. Parents and guardians are
specially requested to notify the school if any change occurs in
their address.
9. Meeting teachers in the class is not permitted. How ever
discussion with any teacher can be arranged on request.
10. Parents must have close contact with class teacher for the
welfare of students not only at the time of complaints but also
for positive comments.
HOME SCHOOL COMMUNICATION.

Parents are requested as far as possible to use the pages
of the school diary for communication. This will enable their
wards to maintain discipline and academic progress.
Telephone messages or oral request will not be
entertained. Teachers are expecting the regular checking of di-
ary or hand book from the parents.
PROMOTION RULES
1. Promotion is given on the basis of the performance of each
pupil during the entire year.
2. Results declared at the end of the year are final in all cases and
will not be reconsidered.
3. A student who fails to pass twice in the same class will not be
permitted to continue his/her studies in school.

4. Parent/Guardian will have to ensure that their wards

maintain good academic standards through out the year.
5. Promotion of the upper grade will be made on the basis of

the Formal examinations as well as the students communi-
cative records based on daily assessment.
SCHOOL ASSEMBLY
On first Wednesday of every month there is a common
school assembly (from KG to XII)
Monday and Friday assembly for VI - XII Standards Only.
I - V Every Wednesday of the week.
K.G assembly on every Tuesday.
CONVEYANCE
1. Conveyance fees should be paid at the beginning of each
term.
2. Students should travel only in the route for which the bus
pass is issued. They will not be permitted to change the
bus.No refund will be made in any aspect. School buses
will not wait for latecomers.
FEES
Fees must be paid by 10th of every quarter. For late fees
Rs.5/- per day will be charged. (please Co-operate with
the management by remitting your fees in time)

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
It is mandatory for the students to wear the identify

card every day in the school.
Only Decent colour dresses are allowed on birthdays.
Students Should be in uniform when ever thay come to
school (for special classes, Special occasions etc..)
Parents please ensure that every student has his/her
snacks, lunch, water bottle, napkins etc..
The name, the class and division of pupils should be
neatly marked on all the belongings of the pupils.
First Saturday of every month will be a working day
from K.G to XII. There will be parent teacher interac-
tion (PTI) time 11.30 to 12.30.
During PTI kindly meet the class teacher and the
subject teachers individually as per the token No. We
would keep the discussion confidential.
Parents can contact teachers over telephone only
between 5.30 to 7.00 pm. School will be closed on Sec-
ond Saturday of every month.
