April 23rd Contemporary 1. to describe and discuss a selection of

Sculptural Ceramics sculptural artworks including conceptual
thought
2. to understand the different processes
of making and display involved in
sculptural ceramics
3. to practice oral presentation of
learned vocabulary

April 30th Permanent Exhibition 1. to review and discuss the contents of

Room 201 room 201 and their appropriate English
descriptions
2. to practice oral presentation using a
basic script

June 4th Studio: Surface, Color, 1. to discuss and experience surface

Glaze Materials & decoration techniques including color
Firing Processes and application; discuss the result of
firing techniques
2. to gain a general understanding of
glaze materials and formula
3. to discuss a range of different firing
processes
4. to practice oral skills in discussing
surface, color, glaze, and firing
processes
