Maternity Packages

1. Package prices are effective from 1 March 2021 and inclusive of 7% Goods and Services Tax (GST) and are subject to
change without prior notice.

2. Please present your Alvernia Ladies Card at the point of admission to enjoy savings on total bill for maternity
packages. You can apply for the Alvernia Ladies Card here (https://mtalvernia.sg/maternity/our_care/alvernia-ladies-card/).

3. All maternity package prices are for Hospital Charges only and do not include any professional fees. Kindly refer to
your doctors for their fees.

4. All packages include BCG & rst Hepatitis B injection for baby (during hospital stay only) if baby’s condition permits. Any
unconsumed item in the package is not refundable, including vaccination.

5. The maternity packages are for normal procedures and items commonly used by doctors only. Complications and extended
length of stay could result in the use of additional medical supplies, drugs and/or additional procedures, in excess to those
stated in the packages. All amounts in excess of the packages will be billed accordingly.

6. A different room package will apply for any upgrading or downgrading of room. For example, to downgrade from
Single – St Michael’s room to Single, a Single – St Michael’s room package will apply. Similarly, to upgrade from 2-
bedded to single room, the single room package will apply.
7. The Hospital discharge time is by 11am (before lunch). For discharges between 11am to 6pm, a half-day room charge
will be levied. For discharges after 6pm, a full day room charge will apply.

8. A higher room package will apply for any upgrading or downgrading of room. For example, to downgrade from Single
room to 2-Bedded room, the Single room package will apply. Similarly, to upgrade from 2-Bedded room to Single room,
the Single room package will apply.
9. The Hospital will submit your pre-delivery expenses as part of the Medisave Maternity Package. All original pre-delivery
expenses must be submitted to our admission staff on your admission. An administrative fee of $28 including GST will
be levied for submissions after 7 days from discharge.

Miscellaneous Charges

10. Histology, X-rays, Blood Cultures, Haemoglucotest, Blood Transfusion, OT Assistant Fee, Surcharges, Baby Hearing Test,
Abdominal Binder, CTG Monitoring and Use of Labour Ward Facility before Emergency Caesarean, Use of Pessary for
the Induction of Labour, Antibiotics, Blood Test and Phototherapy for babies with jaundice, and drugs that are not
commonly used are not included in the package price. Accordingly, such excess will be billed to the patient.

11. A companion fee of $92.45 including GST is chargeable if a companion stays in

(single rooms only).
12. Any unconsumed item in the packages is not refundable, including vaccination.

13. OT surcharges for LSCS apply from 8pm to 7am on Mondays to Fridays, after 5pm on Saturdays and whole day on
Sundays & Public Holidays. Endoscopy surcharges apply after 5pm on Monday to Friday, after 1pm on Saturdays;
whole day on Sundays and Public Holidays.

Medisave

14. For Medisave paying patients, a deposit equivalent to the full package price of the selected maternity package will be
collected at time of admission. For non Medisave-paying patients, the full package price plus $1,000 is payable as a
deposit upon admission.
15. The Hospital will submit your pre-delivery expenses as part of the Medisave Maternity Package. All original pre-delivery
expenses must be submitted to our admission staff on your admission. An administrative fee of $28 including GST will
be levied for submissions after 7 days from discharge.

16. Please note that you are allowed to withdraw Medisave claim of $900 for antenatal care upon submission of original
receipts to our admission staff.

17. The Hospital will make every effort to accommodate your room preference. In the event that your preferred bed type
is not available,
| MOTHERwe will put your name on the priority list.

18. Where necessary, the Hospital reserves the right to transfer any credit balance from the patient’s bill to the newborn
baby’s bill on the day of discharge.
19. A toiletry pouch consisting of shampoo, shower gel, body lotion, toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, shower cap and face

20. Package prices are subjected to review from time to time.
