TRAINING DESIGN TEMPLATE

(Google Forms, Google Slides, Google Sheet and Google Drive)

The training workshop will be organized using different participative

methods such as plenary lectures, workshops, working groups, keynote
speeches, question and answer sessions.

V. Description of Target Audience:

Teachers are those who facilitate the learning process. Teachers

nowadays are exposed to new era of learning especially in this time of
pandemic. The new normal setting made the teachers adapt and embrace the
new modality in delivering the quality education. In alignment with this new
modality are the use of different online applications such as google applications
in their field of works.

VI. Rationale:

Teaching is one of the most unpredicted occupations with lots of

modifications and revisions in terms of strategies, techniques and modality.
Today’s teacher’s deals with a huge of changes in teaching new normal setting.
Teachers need to become adaptive and flexible to this new set up and
negotiate with the advances of technologies. Their role continue to facilitate, to
enlighten, explain, update and maintain the connection between the learners
to the quality education despite the difficulties that they were facing due to the
pandemic.
Students are craving for learnings and quality education regardless the
situation they were in and this is the very same reason why teaching needs to
transpose to its best, embrace the advances of technologies and maintain the
high professional standard. Training is at the heart of achieving these standards.
Thus, this training workshop is designed to develop teachers who will make
the teaching-learning process more efficient with the use of google applications
which are very helpful and convenient in applying the advances of
technologies in the fields of teaching.

VII. Objectives:

This training workshop aims generally to introduce various google

applications and develop the skills among teachers. Specifically, this aims to:
a. promote google applications as an exciting, useful, and convenient
applications to use in the field of teaching;
b. understand how to use and apply various google applications in a
class and general education environment;
c. provide teachers a venue to share their sentiments and views on issues
affecting their performances in using online applications; and
d. Create and share forms, documents and slides through google
applications;
