ICRGU takes your non-academic needs very seriously
and we understand that this is central to your student
experience here too. Our student services team will be
available throughout your studies to provide ongoing
support. The team can also give you advice and support
to help you settle into your new home quickly. We also
have a dedicated emergency phone line for ICRGU
students, making help available to you 24 hours a day,
seven days a week.
SPORT FACILITIES
Sport classes and activities run throughout the week and
the £11 million RGU Sport is home to over 34 sports clubs!
RGU is the perfect university for sport enthusiasts, with an
on-campus modern sport centre only a few metres away
from ICRGU. This provides the best facilities to keep fit and
have fun, including a swimming pool, climbing wall, sports
hall, exercise studios, gym and café.
STUDENT FEEDBACK
ICRGU listens to the students who study with us and
feedback is sought from students on a variety of issues
within the college. ICRGU has a student forum and
nominated student representatives. The academic services
team continuously review the academic content of the
stages delivered at ICRGU to ensure they meet the needs
of our students.

opportunity to be considered for participation in the
IBM Business Challenge, the UK’s most prestigious
business competition. Second year students also
compete in the Beta Project which culminates in

CYBER SECURITY
Cyber security graduates are highly sought after in a wide
variety of industries. Students of this course undertake
individual projects, which demonstrate the practical use
of the cyber security skills acquired during the course.
DIGITAL MEDIA
This course combines both technical ability and creative
design skills providing students with the knowledge and
practical skills to undertake client projects from start
to finish. This course emphasises real life experience
by introducing real client based projects from year
two of the course. This ensures that students gain
opportunities to develop both a portfolio of work
and make professional networks for future use.

PUBLIC RELATIONS
Public relations (PR) focuses on how companies,
organisations and individuals communicate with the public
and media. Students of this course take part in challenging,
real-world projects from design to delivery and evaluation,
and analysis of communications issues from a range of
both academic and practical perspectives. During the
six-week professional practice module in year 3, students
will gain experience in an area of individual choice within
the communication and public relations industries.

Students will be involved in challenging team projects
in years 2 and 3 that integrate their knowledge, develop
their creativity and problem solving skills. Many projects
involve robotics, ranging from simple line-following robots
to underwater robots (ROVs) and sumo wrestling robots.

The language of instruction at ICRGU is English. To attain entry into the undergraduate or
postgraduate programme, you must be able to demonstrate you have a suitable level of
English proficiency. You can do this by obtaining one of the results shown in the table below.
ICRGU is also able to accept evidence of English competency through a wide range of other qualifications including GCSE,
