source, search the internet for specific application(s) of ICT in each industry indicated on the
boxes below.

Education
- Since we’re in the middle of a
pandemic, it is easier to communicate
and share important information with
teachers/students through online access.
Telecommunications
- It helps us to communicate with other
people not minding the distance of it
and it makes our less hassle unlike before
when technology was still not around.

Entertainment Commerce
- It helped a lot of people in this - ICT helped a lot of people especially

pandemic most especially teenagers in the business industry this quarantine

to overcome boredom with the use of season. They could still manage their
online mobile games and some media businesses but with new strategies
streaming sites to watch their favorite that is accessible online.

Task 2: Do This: What I Can Do

ICT has greatly influenced people’s lives. That in most situations, it is taken for granted. Using
the table below, think of things you’re doing/you’ve done that involves ICT technologies. Then
beside it, research or ask older people how were their lives then without ICT technologies. Then
create a generalization or conclusion based on the information you have collected.

WHAT IS IT NOW WITH ICT? WHAT IS IT THEN WITHOUT ICT?

I think it made our lives less complicated than
before. You can easily communicate with
your loved one who are far from you and
since our country’s still in the middle of
pandemic as of today, we could try to kill our
boredom by accessing through some of our
social media platforms.
My parents always say that life before was
more peaceful than now and they always
blame it to the technology nowadays but as
for me I think life before without technology
is kind of tough especially with sharing
information and important data with other
people, then if you communicate with your
loved ones it is also hard since before they all
just rely with letters that you can receive
after months and many more.

GENERALIZATION:
ICT will always be a lot of help to every people in this world. We can use it in our daily
lives and it also bring sometimes a lot of lessons in our life. And I think that technology
will still evolve in the future and our future generations can also witness the evolution of it.
