Classification of Drugs

Objectives:

1. To demonstrate familiarity on the dispensing process of drugs according to it’s’


classification.
2. To learn the different classification of drugs.

Procedure:

1. List down at least 20 drugs from the current MIMS and classify them according to:
a. Over-the-counter (OTC)
b. Prescription drugs
c. Pharmacist-only OTC
d. Household remedies
e. Food supplements
f. Cosmetics

2. For each drug, give the following information using the format:
