II. PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The said project aims to educate people about proper hygiene and its impact to one’s health.
Discussion about the consequences of poor hygiene is also presented in order for the targeted audience to
raise their awareness. And lastly to provide proper hygiene kits for each family living under the poverty line
and during the activity snacks are prepared for the audiences.

III. PROJECT RATIONALE

We all know that our health is important and should not be ignored. A healthy person can intensify
his potentials in delivering promising outcome to the community. Being healthy makes us more productive
also prevents us from acquiring and spreading diseases. Especially nowadays, various diseases are popping

m
and becoming more resistant to drugs.

er as
Furthermore, with the increasing price of basic needs, people tend to ignore their health. Nowadays,

co
eH w
it is better if a person stays healthy instead of going happy go lucky to their health. Because if they put
their health in danger, more consequences will arise and add burden to their family.

o.
rs e
As a proponent of this project, we noticed that the lack of basic resources like soap, toothbrush,
ou urc
toothpaste, shampoo etc. is one of the main factors why proper hygiene is not practiced. In addition to
that, lack of education and knowledge about proper hygiene doesn’t make the people worry about their
health.
