a. Headroom
it is referred to as the distance between the top of your
head and the upper screen edge in a picture
example: one good example of this is a 2x2 picture of mine.
My head is in the center part of the picture and there is a
space between my head and to the upper edge of the picture.

b. Nose room
it is like giving of free space to the direction where the
person in the photo is looking at
example: if a man is looking at his left the photographer
must give a space to the man’s left side

c. Rule of Thirds
it is a well-known principle that recommends
to place your subject in the left or right third of a photo,
deciding to leave its other two thirds free. It usually results
in shots that are visually appealing.
Example: the horizon and main subject in a photo which
have been positioned near lines or intersections

d. Aspect Ratio
it is the proportional connection of the width and height
of a picture.
Example: 4:3 size of picture
