OBJECTIVES

The study aims to aid less fortunate people as well as to give light by the use of Sunlight’s energy.
Although these families have to invest, the ARMA Lights is reliable and convenient, allowing them to
have alternative electricity storage in terms of shortages or blackouts. Furthermore, to give an additional
source of electricity aside from VECO since ARMA Light’s usages are accommodating that can light up
residences. However, an accommodating product nowadays is pleasurable for residents thus, it needs to
conduct a seminar about the product's utilization and give information to spread its popularity. Aside
from that, it is beneficial to all since it is a safer alternative for electricity shortages and blackouts instead
of using gas lamps and candles

II. METHODOLOGY

The study is a quantitative research which utilized the descriptive research design to describe the
demand of the locals to the electricity source. The researchers conducted the study in Barangay Naba,
Mambaling, located near the shore wherein the locals lacked sources of power supply and become one
of their main challenges. Due to this, the researchers aim to provide lights in the vicinity, particularly in
dim sites to avoid incidents and other risky activities.

The total population of the Barangay has 632 residents wherein to get the appropriate sample size
from the total population within the locality, the researchers used Slovin's formula with 5% as its margin
of error. With 245 residents as the sample size representatives that had been surveyed through the
method of systematic sampling since researchers favor more professionals ages 20-69 as their
respondents for what the researchers observed during the community needs assessment, these
residents have highly demand for electricity and have more interest in alternative and storage electricity.
Therefore, the ARMA Lights would be sustainable, affordable and convenient to all.

For the gathering of data, the researchers created a self-made survey questionnaire wherein its
studied variables are the interest in the product, ARMA Lights, and the demand for electricity in
Barangay Naba, Sitio Alaska, Mambaling. The four point Likert Scale was used in the survey questionnaire
to measure the factors in the study with the indicators [4] strongly agree, [3] agree, [2] disagree, [1]
strongly disagree. The statistical reliability of the survey questionnaire was determined to be acceptable
(Survey) with Cronbach's alpha value of 0.7795. The results of these survey questionnaires become the
measurement of the variables whether the demand for electricity increases then suits their interest in
the product or the other way around. Also, the answers of overall means would depend on the
Parameter of Limit on where it interpretation belongs to.

III. PROJECT RISK MANAGEMENT PLAN

finally a test on whether the ARMA lights project
would be able to power a small room with two or
more appliances running.

IV. PROJECT COST

Initial Capitalization and Source of fund

To start the ARMA Company, the co-partners decided to have a capital with the initial capital of
500,000 pesos and used Love money. This means that to start this business, ARMA would loan money
from their spouse, parents, and friends. As to start a small company, the co-partners have no enough
funds to proceed in doing their proposed project to help each communities when it comes to black outs
and shortages of electricity. Hence, each co-partners should contribute with the amount of 62, 500 to
start this Company in which ARMA will be remembered to enlighten ways with the proposed project,
ARMA Lights. And so, the proposed project of ARMA Team needs a total support of each family to grow a
healthy and helping Company.

V. CONCLUSION

ARMA Lights as an Alternative Electricity storage aims to provide and give light to all
residents who do not have. Other than that, ARMA Lights has chords to charge cellphones, indicates
battery percentage and lessen the worry since it has a portable fan to lessen the heat inside the product.
Besides, the residents prefer to have this kind of power generator due to the shortage of electrical
power, so their interest arises to have light, as well as their demand. The ARMA Lights as an Alternative
Electricity is an effective way to aid the problem in Barangay Naba, Mambaling especially when it comes
to electricity. Firstly, the barangay does not have a sufficient source of electricity to provide light in their
homes or even in the streets. This disaster risk management provides the residents what they just need.
Second, it is very safe since it underwent from serious planning by professionals and also went through
registration and license from the government to ensure that this product if entirely safe for the residents
to use. Third, it does not only give light but this also serves as a mini generator that families can use for
charging, turning on the appliances and so on. ARMA Lights provide a series of benefits that is ready to
serve the needs of the barangay. This solution may be the best since it is safe and provides primarily the
most necessary for the said barangay.
