Nice to meet you, my name is Nairo Al exander Quintana R ojas I have been a
professional road cyclist since 2009 recognized worldwide for my responsibility,
effort and dedication in my profession, I currently work with the French team Arkea
Samsic .

I am Colombian, from Boyacá , born on February 4, 1990 in Tunja , I am 31 years

old , I am a native of the municipality of Combita-Boyacá , my father is Luis
Quintana and my mother is Eloísa Rojas; peasant farmers; I have four siblings: Nel
ly, Willinton, Leidy, and Dayer. My younger brother Dayer is also a professional
cyclist.

I am the father of a daughter named Mariana Quintana Hernández in the same

way I am married to the mother of my daughter Yeimy Paola Hernández, whom I
have known since she was 14 years old, she is the only woman in my life and she
has also accompanied this process of professional growth and staff with triumphs
and difficulties

Throughout my career I have worked in Colombian teams, my first step was to

enter the Club Deportivo Ediciones Mar de Tunja, my first cycling team was
Boyacá es para Vivirla, Continental category (third division), in which I debuted in
2009 with 19 years. E direct l r of the square, Vicente Belda . After P ara 2010
through to the Café de Colombia-Colombia is Passion, Continental also category
and directed by Luis Fernando Saldarriaga. For 2011 the team rose in category
and became Continental Professional (second division), which opened the doors to
more European competitions, including some of the UCI WorldTour, the highest
world category. In this way they were able to go to the Volta to Catalonia, where
Quintana was made with the classification of the mountain.

In addition, I have also had the opportunity to work with important international
teams. In 2012 , the leap to elite cycling took place with the signing of the contract
for two seasons with the Spanish team Movistar, in what marked its debut in a
ProTeam team, I worked with movistar from 2012 to 2019 . Since 2020 I have been
working with the French team Arkea Samsic, it has been 2 years with this
wonderful team .

I am generally a very healthy person, although I have undergone several surgeries

on my knees due to falls and other accidents that occur during races, I am one of
the best cyclists in Colombia and I am proud to be part of this country.

Finally, thanks to the work I have done with these teams I have obtained several
successes in important races.
