Chapter IV

PRESENTATION, INTERPRETATION, AND ANALYSIS OF DATA


This chapter presents the analysis and interpretation of data gathered on the evaluation results as
perceived by the Senior High School Students of La Patria College.
Table 1.0 Respondents profile in terms of Age

Table 1. 0 shows the respondents' profile in terms of their age. Information on table 1.0 presents that the
majority of the respondents belong to ages 15-16 years old with a frequency number of 19 or 63 percent,
followed by 17-18 years old with a frequency number of 11 or 37 percent. None of the respondents
belong to 19 years old and 21 above.

Table 1.1 presents that the majority of the respondents belong to females with a frequency number of 24
or 80 percent followed by Male with a frequency number of 6 or 80 percent.

Table 3 shows that the statement “Roofs” gained the highest weighted mean of 4.07 with a
description of Good followed by statement “Life safety requirements” gained the weighted mean of 3.90
with a description of Good followed by statement “Framing, Floors, Foundation” gained the weighted
mean of 3.77 with a description of Good followed by statement “Electric Lighting” gained the weighted
mean of 3.70 with a description of Good followed by statement “Exterior walls, finishes, windows,
doors” gained the weighted mean of 3.50 with a description of Good followed by statement “Electric
Power” gained the weighted mean of 3.47 with a description of Good followed by statement “Interior
finishes, trims” gained the weighted mean of 3.33 with a description of Good followed by “Heating,
ventilation, air conditioning” gained the lowest weighted mean of 2.50 with a description of Fair.
The table indicates that La Patria College has a Good classroom in terms of the Physical
Structures and Mechanical Features with the grand weighted mean of 3.53.

Table 4 shows that the statement “Physical Structure of buildings” gained the highest weighted mean of
3.53 with a description of Satisfactory followed by statement “Lightning” gained the weighted mean of
3.23 with a description of Satisfactory followed by statement “Energy efficiency/conservation” gained the
weighted mean of 2.80 with a description of Satisfactory followed by statement “Ventilation” gained the
weighted mean of 2.73 with a description of Unsatisfactory followed by statement “Acoustic for noise
control” gained the weighted mean of 2.67 with a description of Unsatisfactory followed by statement
“Heating” gained the highest weighted mean of 2.53 with a description of Unsatisfactory followed by
statement “Indoor air quality” gained the highest weighted mean of 2.37 with a description of
Unsatisfactory.
The table indicates that the La Patria College has an acceptable though not outstanding or Satisfactory in
terms of Physical Structure and Mechanical Features with the grand weighted mean of 3.03.

25 yes and 5 no followed by statement “Does your school have an established emergency response plan
for dealing with school safety issues?” gained 27 yes and 3 no, followed by statement “Does your school
have an accessible and safe fire exit?” gained 23 yes and 7 no followed by statement “Does your school
have parent or other community volunteers to assist in monitoring the school?” gained 9 yes and 21 no
