are three independent variables in the study. The first independent variable is the extent of needs
satisfiers in terms of physiological needs, security needs, social needs, self-esteem needs and
self-actualization needs. The other independent variable is the extent of occupational hazards
which include the physical, emotional, social and health hazards. The last one is the status of
working environment which is evaluated in terms of working hours, school culture, career
On the other hand, the dependent variable of the study is the level of teaching
The one headed arrow between the need satisfiers and teaching competencies, between
occupational hazards and teaching competencies and working environment and teaching
competencies show the hypothesized relationship between these paired variables. Finally, an
enhanced hazard identification and development plan will be developed based on the result of the
study.
