OBJECTIVES:
MUSIC:
 relates Medieval, Renaissance and Baroque music to other art forms and
its history within the era; MU9MRB -Ic-f-3
ARTS :
 uses artworks to derive the traditions/history of an art period A9PL-Ih-3
 creates artworks guided by techniques and styles of Western Classical art
traditions A9PR-Ice

Direction:
 You are going to create your own design in painting guided by some related
techniques during the Western Classical Arts.
 Select only one artwork and depend on the availability / recycled materials in
your home.
 Answer the process question.

You can choose from the following:


A. Mosaic Painting
Materials: Illustration Board, paste or glue, candy wrappers, used colored
papers, magazines, brochures.

1. Create your own design for your mosaic. It should be relevant to the
Roman Era.
2. Cut your candy wrappers, paper into small squares, triangle, rectangle or
circle.
3. Start pasting your cut out materials into your design.

B. Stained Glass painting:


Materials: empty glass bottle, Permanent marker, Acrylic paint, White glue
Water
Procedure:
1. Choose a design for your stained glass. It should be relevant to the
medieval themes and symbolism.
2. Trace your design outside the bottle using permanent black marker.
3. Color your design using acrylic paint.
4. After coloring ,apply a glazed composed of glue diluted in water.

C. FRESCO PAINTING
Materials: Illustration, board 1/8 size / Long folder, Poster paint/
Pastel color, brush and pencil.

PROCEDURE:
1. Create your own design for your fresco painting.
2. Color your design using poster, paint, pastel color.

Material: pieces of illustration board, chip board, or canvas, acrylic paint,


brush, pencil

PROCEDURES:
1. Cut the illustration board, into 3 pieces with the same size.
2. Choose your own design for your panel painting.
3. Color your panel painting using acrylic paint.

D. FRESCO PAINTING
Materials: Illustration board, folder, chip board, pencil , acrylic paint, poster
paint
Procedure:
1. Choose a design for your fresco painting.
2. Color your design using acrylic paint, poster paint.

E. CLAY POT PAINTING


Materials: Clay pot, plastic bottle , acrylic paint, marker.
1. Design your clay pot or plastic bottle
2. Trace your design using black marker.
3. Color your design using acrylic paint.
