SIMPLE PAST

 Estrutura afirmativa: Sujeito + Verbo (passado) + Complemento

Ex:
I studied English yesterday. (Eu estudei ingles ontem.)
He worked a lot last week. (Ele trabalhou muito semana passada.)
We liked the meal.

exemplos:
Yesterday, I went to the supermarket. (to go – went)
He wrote a letter to his mother. (to write – wrote).

 Estrutura negativa: Sujeito + Did (not) + Verbo + Complemento

Ex:
I did not (didn’t) study English yesterday.
He didn’t work a lot last week.
We didn’t like the meal.
They didn’t go.
Obs: Usamos o auxiliar “did” para negar frases e formar perguntas no simple past,
independentemente do sujeito.

 Estrutura Interrogativa: Did + Sujeito + Verbo + Complemento

Ex:
Did you study English?
Did He work a lot last year?
Did you like the meal?
