The game I chose to play for this game analysis is the video game Nazi
Zombies (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sniper_Elite_V2#Nazi_Zombie_Army) .
While playing this game I noticed at least four out of the eight MDA framework
aesthetics, which were Fantasy, Narrative, Challenge, and Discovery.
The first emotional aesthetic that I noticed when I began playing the
game was that the game has an imaginary world where in this world, a disease
has overcome the land and has turned most of the population in zombie like
people. Another aspect of the Fantasy aesthetic I found was that there is also
“wizard” like characters in the
game that have special powers to
overtake the world. The next
emotional aesthetic I found while

there was a narrative that kept me, as

first. The kept the game exciting because you weren’t exactly sure what was
Th
going to come next that you would have to get past in order to get to the next
level. The last aesthetic that I found while playing this video game was
discovery. Along with the different challenges and because there is a fantasy
sh
world, the game contained the urge to explore around this game’s world and
explore each level to see what you could find. Some different things you had to
explore for was different ammo for different guns you could use to kill the
zombies, or specific special items like eggs or coins etc. that would help you in
different levels when you were in trouble.
