HONAI The traditional house of Dani tribe have three types.

The rst is Honai comes from two words, "Hun" means male and "Ai"means house. This house literally
for an adult male. Honai is not intended for woman because Honai is place for boys become teenagers.
In Honai house the boys get education where men hold dialogues, or discuss about economic problem
or prepare some strategy for the war and the place to store assets and war equipment. some unique
from this house is the place to keep the mummies of the tribe members which need to guarded from
the generation to generation.

1 The second is Ebeai, the traditional house in Dani tribe come from "Ebe" means body and
"Ai"means house. this house especially for women but there is no prohibition for man to
enter Ebeai. In Ebeai mother will prepare and teach their teenager daughters about how
