 Rationale

I would like my future classroom to have the same characteristics that I designed in the

above picture. In the middle of the classroom, I would like to set four tables with 5 students each,

so in total I will have 20 students. In case I have more than 20, I will have extra tables in the

centers. By putting two sets of tables together, the students will do their work collaborating and

they will socialize as well. In the back of the classroom, there are two doors that exit to the

playground. Also,I have a cubby so they can put their backpacks on when they come to school.

In the back left side I have a smart board with the alphabet and some shapes on, so the students

can read them every day until they learn them. In front of the blackboard, we will be doing

circle time. Next to the blackboard there are the rules of the classroom, I need my students to see

them everyday and follow them. In front of the classroom's rules, there is the library where the

students should go to check on books. At the back left corner I will have my desk with a

projector, so I can present some google slides or some educational videos to reinforce what they

are learning. On the left side I will have the computer center, where students can check

educational programs . Moreover, I have the Science center and the Math center next to the

computer center, so students can play with manipulatives to enhance their learning. At the left

side bottom, there is a place to calm down in case they are throwing a fit or just need a moment.

Next to the relax area, will be the writing center, so they can practice tracing their names and

numbers. In the front of the classroom, there are two water facets for the students to wash their

hands before and after breakfast.

Also, there is an easel ,so students can paint if they want to get dirty and have fun.. In the

middle of the front of the classroom, there is the entrance door with the room number in case

someone is looking for me. In the corner of the front of the classroom , there is the restroom.
Then, on the right side of the classroom, there is a sign to show that it is okay to be different. At

the top right corner, there is the Block center where students can build a tower or a house. In the

middle of the classroom, there is the Art center where students can do crafts. Moreover, there is

the Fine motor center so students can develop their dexterity and strengthen their fingers. I have

an area designated for them to play dress up, they can pretend to play Mom and Dad or maybe

even a teacher themselves. The End.
