Art Appreciation

A. Art is an expression.
 It is a means of self-expression and can help a person to convey emotions
that are difficult to verbalize. Because according to the English Philosopher
Robin George Collingwood, “The principles of art that what an artist does to
an emotion is not induce it, but express it.”

B. Art is universal.
 Art is the one that can connect the world. It represents people, tradition,
cultural, political, unity, harmony and peace. It’s showcase the powerful of art
around the globe that is to be respected and gives freedom to everyone.

C. Art is not nature.


 Obviously it’s not a nature because in many ways, art is not natural it came
from the ability or talent of an individual whose artificially created by them.

D. Art is an experience.
 It’s one of the most important thing in creating works. When the audience
encounters art, they are connecting with the experiences of the artist and
with that they can give meaning on their own perspective. It’s also implies the
creation of art must have a knowledgeable value to everyone.
