PERFORMANCE STANDARD The learner actively participates in a rap/spoken poetry through using
effective verbal and non-verbal strategies based on the following criteria:
Focus, Delivery, Voice, Facial Expressions, Body Movements/Gestures and
Technical Effects/Costume.
CONTENT STANDARD The learner demonstrates understanding of how Anglo-American literature
and other text types serve as means of enhancing the self; also, how to use
processing, assessing, summarizing, information, word derivation and
formation strategies, appropriate word order, punctuation marks and
interjections to enable him/her to perform actively in a rap/spoken poetry.

The teacher will post a dialogue about a first- time snowboarder. The students are to read and examine the
dialogue posted. Afterwards, the students will answer the following questions.

1. What is the dialogue all about?


2. What should the snowboarder do first if he wants to try snowboarding?
3. What must he wear while snowboarding?
4. What else did the helper ask him to do?
5. Why should he ought to wear sunscreen?

Virtual Discussion
The teacher flashes the power point on screen and the students will actively participate in the
interactive discussion of the lesson. Afterwards, the students will answer the board exercises.

An RCian who uses modals to express permission, obligation or prohibition to people he/she is interacting

Mini Task 1.2: Writing and Delivering a Manuscript


Write a 5-paragraph informative speech on how people can be safe during this pandemic. Make sure to
include as much modal verbs in the output. Once done, record yourself reading your speech. Take note also
that during the delivery, you must wear proper attire.
