Sub: - CAN No. 617282789 - Meter Reading Dispute and Bill for the month of July 2018 not
given and August 2018 Bill given without taking meter reading– Reg.

Ref:- Complaint No.5750 – Dt.25.08.2018 & 4606 – Dt.17.09.2018

We have a water pipe connection bearing CAN No. 617282789, we wish to bring to your kind notice
that the Water Bill which is been generated by you every month is not been taken properly, there is a
difference in the Water Meter reading and billing.

We have not received the bill for the month of August 2018 and September 2018 as well, when we
called the Call Center and Informed that the online complaint given on 25.08.2018 shows as resolved
and no one from the HMWSSB has come and taken the reading and the Bill given shows as Door
Locked on 15.09.2018 which is not true, the last month bill amount is been given to us and we were
asked to pay the amount within 15 days. No one has approached for taking the meter reading,
without taking the Water meter reading how can the bill be generated.

We request your good self to send someone to take proper water meter reading to pay the same from
our end, because of entering notional water meter reading this month also the vary purpose of
arranging Water Meter’s to the users are completely deviating.

Therefore we request your good self to take necessary action immediately to solve our complaint
and generate the last month and current month bill with accurate reading. July month reading:
Open – 1230 Close – 1350 =120KL Amount: Rs.3957 paid on 06.08.2018. Earlier to bill amount of
Rs. 3975/- which was paid on 06.08.2018, we always used to get minimum amount of Rs.624/-
(Rupees Six Hundred and Twenty Four only). We have asked the meter reading official in July month
also, he has said there is some problem and earlier meter reading was not done properly and from
next month (i.e. August 2018) we will get minimum amount, but still we were given the same amount
of August Bill, which is to be paid by 15.09.2018.

Now, this month we have not received the bill for the month of July 2018, when we called the
Call Centre we were informed that the bill Is generated on 15.08.2018 (on National Public
Holiday) and as the door was locked the last month bill amount is been given to us and we
were asked to pay the amount within 15 days. We have informed that we were in house and
door was not locked. No one has approached for taking the meter reading and without taking
the Water reading how can the bill be generated. Actually we have received the Text Message
at ) 00.30 Hours on dated 15.08.2018 that the bill generated for Rs.3957/-.

We request your good self to send someone to take proper water meter reading to pay the
same from our end, because of entering notional water meter reading this month the vary
purpose of arranging Water Meter’s to the users are completely deviating.

Therefore we request your good self to take necessary action immediately to solve our
complaint and generate the current month bill with accurate reading. Last month

monthly. We have asked the meter reading official last month also, he has said there is some
problem and earlier meter reading was not done properly and from next month (i.e. present
Bill) we will get again minimum amount.
