Feature
▪ When receipts are paid in SAP
Customer Checkout, there are some
functions which are activated
automatically (e.g. Print receipt)
Benefits
Optimized user handling and
intuitive interface to activate more
functions once receipt is paid.
SAP Customer Checkout 2.0 Feature Pack 11 provides a new Mobile Checkout section.
The Mobile Checkout section and all related apps let you set-up and manage self-order functionality allowing customers to
place orders on their own (e.g. in restaurants, or cafés) by using a separate web application. The web application for self-
order is provided by SAP Customer Checkout manager.

In order to configure the multi-factor authentication for SAP Customer Checkout, you need to perform the following steps:

all users (with the respective role) are asked for a multi-factor authentication when creating or updating system critical data
in SAP Customer Checkout manager.

Multi-factor Authentication
2
Set-up Multi-factor Authentication for your User (1/2)
Log-in into SAP Customer Checkout manager with your user who has the role with multi-factor authentication (e.g.
SALESMANAGER1).
In the Users app, there is a new flag available “MFA setup done”, which provides information if the respective user has
initially set-up multi-factor authentication yet. In this example, the initial multi-factor authentication setup has not yet been
done.
The QR-code shown in the pop-up is for your initial set-up of the multi-factor authentication. In order to do this, you need an
Authenticatior app (e.g. Google Authenticator, or SAP Authenticator), where you can scan this QR-code.
Open your Authentication app, and scan the QR-code shown in SAP Customer Checkout manager (3). The 6-number code
is shown for this user (4). You can now enter this number code in SAP Customer Checkout manager for the initial set-up,
and select “Verify” (5).
3
Your user is now
multi-factor
authenticated.
After you have double successfully set-up the initial multi-factor authentication for your user successfully, you can create or
update data in SAP Customer Checkout manager.
The multi-factor authentication needs to be performed once for each session, and only for creating and updating system
critical data. In case a user wants to check or view other data, there is no multi-factor authentication needed.
Log-in into SAP Customer Checkout manager (with your user who has multi-factor authentication set-up), and create or
update user data, as needed. For example, you want to update the name of one user (1).
As soon as you click “Save”, the MFA pop-up appears (2), where you
can enter the code shown in the Authenticator app (3).
1
3
Your data is saved, and the user name is updated accordingly (4).
In SAP Customer Checkout manager, you have furthermore the option to “Reset the multi-factor authentication set-up”
for your user. For example, this is helpful when the user looses the smartphone, cannot get access to the code within the
Authenticator app.
With this function, the user is asked to redo the multi-factor authentication set-up during the next session.
Navigate to the respective user, and choose “Reset MFA set-up” (1). Confirm the Reset MFA set-up with “OK” (2).
• Be aware that multi-factor authentication is set individually for each role and is not
inherited
• There is one exception of users who are excluded from multi-factor authentication:
users who have the „technical user“ flag activated (prevents from running into
issues when this user is configured for integration purpose)
