1 Introduction
This manual contains all documentation related to the internal crane, which is
installed in the wind turbine. The owner of the wind turbine must make sure that
the wind turbine is only operated by qualified personnel and the documents that
follow are read before the start of any work on the wind turbine:

1.1 Manual structure

The chapters of this manual cover wind turbine-specific crane features and
equipment.
This manual contains supplier documentation for crane and hoist equipment
along with Vestas-specific instructions.

2 Updating of the manual

This manual is continuously updated as long as new wind turbines of this type
are installed. Corrections made to each specific chapter are listed under ‘History
of this document’.

3 Classification
The classification ‘Restricted’ means that the information in this document can be
shared on a need-to-know basis with Vestas personnel or parties external to
Vestas without a non-disclosure agreement being signed in advance.
