EDUC 709: Assessment in Learning I

First Term, AY 2021-2022

Activity 4:

“Taxonomic Classification”
Determine which domain and level of learning are targeted by the following learning
competencies taken from the DepED subject curriculum guides. For your information, the term
‘competency’ has various meanings. Its descriptions range from that of a broad overarching attribute to
that of a very specific task (Kennedy, Hyland & Ryan, 2009).

Learning competencies Domain Level


1. Explain how specific aspects of a text’s illustration
contribute to what is conveyed by the words in
the text.
2. Design a product out of local, recyclable solid
and/or liquid materials in making useful products.
3. Identify which conditioning and flexibility
exercises demonstrated will improve body
mechanics.
4. Adhere to a systematic approach in problem
solving.
5. Calculate the measures of central tendency of
ungrouped and grouped data.
6. Appraise the unity of plot, setting and
characterization in a material viewed to achieve
the writer’s purpose.
7. Design an individualized exercise program to
achieve personal fitness.
8. Engage confidently in Physics laboratory tasks.
9. Nailalarawan kung paano nagkakaiba at
magkakatulad ang bawat pamilya.
10. Mimics animal movements according to speed.
