HOLIDAY ACTIVITIES
Dear Students,
Refer and attempt to do the activities given below, enjoy the holidays!!!!
We are eagerly waiting to hear from you on the activities you enjoyed!!!!

REDISCOVER YOUR OLD TOYS

You may have had toys you played with in your toddler age but no longer play.
Search your home and rediscover those toys you had forgotten and revive the
essence and joy of playing with toys.

BLANKET FORT

No matter what your age is, making forts using pillows, blankets, bed sheets,
cushions, etc is always fun. It helps to bring up your creative skills. You can also
try making larger forts for elder ones.
FAMILY TREE

The handprint canvas craft is a great way to show off your family tree. It also
makes a lovely piece of art to display in the home.

Take a chart and draw a tree base. Handprint the branches. To make a handprint,
place about a quarter size dollop of paint on your child's hand. Use a foam
paintbrush to spread the paint evenly across the palm and fingers. Once the hand is
covered in paint, place it down on your tree. Press the hand down firmly, being
careful not to slide it around. Let it dry. Then, collect photos of the people you
want to include in your family tree and glue them to the chart. Now your family
tree is ready!!!!

A TO Z SCAVENGER HUNT:

Take a big box and go on a scavenger hunt indoors (if you don’t mind your home
being turned upside down). Collect in the box any items they can find starting with
different letters of the alphabet. Pick up an apple from the kitchen (starts with A),
or a safety pin (starts with S) from your sewing
box, or a ballpoint pen (starts with B) from your
work table. All letters of the alphabet must be
covered. And all items must fit in the box
provided.
MOVIE TIME:

Lazy afternoons can be turned interesting by watching movies that your kids may
have missed in the theatre.

Use your home theatre and watch those movies with them. Popcorn and lemonade
would be a good accompaniment.

“MAY YOUR HOME BE FILLED WITH WARMTH AND WONDER THIS HOLIDAY.”
