CIA 2 – PREPARING BRIEF ANNOTATED BIBLIOGRAPHY

Dash, D. K. (2021, March 18). Vehicle scrappage policy: Unfit 20-year-old personal vehicle
to be scrapped from June 2024 | India business news - Times of India. The Times of
India. https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/business/india-business/vehicle-scrapping-policy-
to-offer-about-5-rebate-on-new-cars-nitin-gadkari/articleshow/81569841.cms

Road transport minister Nitin Gadkari announced the vehicle scrapping policy on Thursday,
saying that personal vehicles older than 20 years will be de-registered on June 1, 2024, if they
fail an automatic fitness test or their registration certificate is not renewed. Similarly,
commercial cars older than 15 years will be deregistered on April 1, 2023.

Barriers analysis for reverse logistics implementation in Indian electronics industry using
fuzzy analytic hierarchy process. (n.d.). ScienceDirect.com | Science, health and medical
journals, full text articles and books.
https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S1877042815019965

Due to environmental concerns, enforcing legislation, rapid technological progress, and

corporate citizenship, reverse logistics methods are gaining traction. Due to the reduction in
pollution caused by reusing a product after it has reached the end of its useful life, reverse
logistics has been viewed as an aspect of sustainable development. This study presents an
approach for prioritising the barriers to RL adoption based on a fuzzy analytic hierarchy
procedure.

Electric vehicles lithium-ion batteries reverse logistics implementation barriers analysis: A

TISM-MICMAC approach. (n.d.). ScienceDirect.com | Science, health and medical journals,
full text articles and books.
https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0921344921003608

For the implementation of RLs in EVs-LIBs, conceptual model architecture has been
provided. The researchers used a combined TISM and MICMAC technique. The most
significant obstacle category has been identified as market and societal. The consequences of
theory, management, and policy have all been examined.
An integrated framework for evaluating the barriers to successful implementation of reverse
logistics in the automotive industry. (n.d.). ScienceDirect.com | Science, health and medical
journals, full text articles and books.
https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S095965262032761X

The difficulties to reverse logistics implementation are investigated in this study. The Delphi
technique is used to identify the most important impediments. The relevance of the barriers is
determined using the best-worst method. The causal relations are examined using the
weighted impact non-linear gauge system. The model's applicability is demonstrated via a
case study in the automotive industry.

Reverse logistics and closed-loop supply chain: A comprehensive review to explore the
future. (n.d.). ScienceDirect.com | Science, health and medical journals, full text articles and
books. https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0377221714005633

Reverse logistics and closed-loop supply chain concerns have piqued the interest of
academics and practitioners due to environmental, legal, social, and economic factors. The
huge number of publications in scientific journals produced in recent years demonstrates this
interest. As a result, a thorough assessment of recent and state-of-the-art articles is required to
construct a historical framework and offer light on future directions. The purpose of this work
is to review recently published papers in scholarly journals on reverse logistics and closed-
loop supply chains.

The concept of the decision support system to plan the reverse logistics in automotive
industry. (n.d.). IEEE Xplore. https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/abstract/document/8555760

The article discusses industrial development in the era of the transition from a linear to a
circular economic model, as well as new tendencies in logistical development. Vehicle
intelligence management should be done at every point of their life cycle, especially when
organising services in international markets. Production, logistics, and service processes are
all intertwined and should be taken into account as a whole.

Reverse logistics challenges in remanufacturing of automotive mechatronic devices. (2013,

February 6). Journal of Remanufacturing. https://link.springer.com/article/10.1186/2210-
4690-3-2
This paper presents a qualitative research study based on interviews with SMEs to identify
unique problems related to the reverse logistics of SMEs remanufacturing and trading old
automotive mechatronic devices during the collection phase of automotive mechatronic
remanufacturing. Researchers have confirmed previously known issues, discovered additional
challenges in the collection phase, and indicated challenges that are predicted to arise when
remanufacturing and trading automobile electronic CAN bus mechatronic equipment.

A framework of reverse logistics for the automobile industry. (2012, May 8). Taylor &
Francis. https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/abs/10.1080/00207543.2011.571929

Due to a variety of factors, including inevitable product recalls, regulatory legislation

regarding environmental and ecological issues, and so on, reverse logistics has become
increasingly crucial to the automotive sector. In fact, because to increased environmental
concerns, the necessity for vehicle recovery has gotten more attention than ever before.
Surprisingly, few automakers have a successful reverse logistics system for retrieving and
reusing returned vehicles. This is partly due to the lack of thorough investigation of the work
committed to this area.

Research on development strategy of automobile reverse logistics based on SWOT analysis.

(n.d.). ScienceDirect.com | Science, health and medical journals, full text articles and books.
https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S1877705817301479

This study analyses the research importance and objective before using the SWOT analysis
method to list the SO strategy, the ST strategy, the WO strategy, the WT strategy, and the SO
strategy of the corresponding SWOT in light of the current status and issues in China's
reverse logistics. When combined with the peculiarities of China's vehicle reverse logistics
business, China's particular reverse logistics development strategy for the automotive
industry was highlighted.
