Adobe Photoshop is the world’s premier
photo editing software. Although it is used
by designers and graphic artist, its
predominant focus is as a tool for
photographers.
It allows us to import images in traditional
digital photo formats such as jpeg, tiff, BMP
and RAW. It was originally created in 1988
by Thomas and John Knoll. Since, then this
software has become the industry standard
not only in raster graphics editing, but in
digital art as a whole. Photoshop is the best
choice for any image manipulation job.

Adobe illustrator is a professional quality
graphic art program. Its application are
diverse, from creating print to web graphics
and, for our purposes, posters. Although the
program is complex and requires a
significant amount of time to truly master, it
is quite easy to learn the basics and create
work with a professional appearance.
Designing a poster does not require any
special artistic talent or skills, it just requires
having the patience to get acquainted with
the program.
