Self-Compassion Tech
Directions: Go to your room or any place where you can sit silently undisturbed. Breathe deeply while
repeating any of these lines “Suffering is part of life. All is Well, or I can get through with my problem.” Stay
in this for about 15 minutes. Take notice of your body’s reaction. Then write in detail what you feel while
doing and after doing the said activity.

My Body’s Reaction

Saying those words while meditating was the best feeling ever that I’ve ever had, my body was in its
state of lightness. It was a relief and the best option in releasing all the pains and harboring problems.
I was sweating and it seems that the heavy burden that I’ve been lifting was gone and it also made me
cry because of the feeling of being happy in just a short span of time. I was thinking that I’ve been
talking to God whom he gave me hope, lightness and I can also feel his guidance on what was the
right thing to with my problems. After meditating for almost 20 minutes I realized that God has been
always there guiding me and giving me hope to conquer everything with integrity. When everyone
turns their back on me, I’m pretty sure that God will never turn back to me because he's willing to lean
his hands without expecting any return from me.
