1. Copy and explain the Vision, Mission and Goal of the University by pointing out the relevance or
connection of the VMG to your course or Profession.

Vision of the University: A premier, multidisciplinary-technological university.

 ANS: A leading university that influences students and future teachers to strive harder in their
corresponding program. In relevance to my profession, this will prepare me for the challenges
that I might face as an elementary teacher and gain professional qualifications.

Mission of the University: The University shall primarily provide advanced professional and technical
instruction for special purposes, advanced studies in Industrial trade, agriculture, fishery, forestry,
engineering, aeronautics and land-based programs, education, arts and sciences, health sciences,
information technology, and other relevant fields of study. It shall also undertake research, extension
services, and production, and provide progressive leadership in its areas of specialization. (Sec. 2, RA
9744)

 ANS: The university provides advanced professional and technical instruction that will help
students to gain quick pace progress of learning. In relevance to my profession, advanced
studies, like researches service extension, progressive leadership, and such, will help me to be
equipped to provide my future students a credible and reliable source of information for their
learning.

Goals of the University: The University shall produce scientifically and technologically oriented human
capital equipped with appropriate knowledge, skills, and attitude. It shall likewise pursue relevant

 research, strengthen linkage with the industry, community and other institutions and maintain
sustainable technology for the preservation of the environment.

 ANS: The ultimate aim of the University is to produce scientifically and technologically oriented
human capital-equipped learners. As for the relevance of my profession, this will influence me to
build lifelong learnings, ignite the distinct and special potential of my future students, and instill
learning with the accommodation of technology that will assist them through their career path.

2. Write your personal commitment in order to attain the CTU’s VMG.

 ANS: As a student at Cebu Technical University, Danao Campus, I will regularly devote myself
to following directions and contributing my best efforts to my academic program with intellectual
interest, appropriateness, efficiency, and integrity. I will actively participate in the organizational
life of the university, taking the steps needed to fulfill all my responsibilities under its laws. This
responsibility extends financial commitments, curriculum and class attendance, acceptable
clothing and actions, and completion of my stated program as a student of this university.
