for excitement when the American Heroes Aviation Network and
the Texas Military Forces at the historic Camp Mabry team up
with Travis County STAR Flight deliver an exciting family event
that is the premier source for education about the helicopter’s
role in community service and homeland safety, cutting-edge
products and educational resources in emergency preparedness
and emergency response for families and businesses.

The American Heroes Air Show – since 1993 our unique


helicopter-only event profiles aviation's role in Law Enforcement,
Fire Service, Homeland Security & National Defense, Communications,
Search & Rescue and Emergency Response with aircraft from local,
county, state and Federal / military units.
 Helicopters from law enforcement, homeland security, national
defense and fire / rescue service on static display !
 Entertainment, theme merchandise, concessions and collectible
event trading cards.

Tribute. This moving display honors our fallen heroes with a scale
replica of the Vietnam Memorial along with the Cost of Freedom
Tribute which pays respect to those that have died for our

Event Summary: America’s premier, admission-free all-helicopter aviation
event returns to the Austin area. Developed in 1993, the
American Heroes Air Show profiles helicopters’ crucial role in
law enforcement, public safety, communications, Search &
Rescue as well as homeland security and national defense.
The event highlights rotary-wing aviation capabilities with static
displays and exciting demonstrations.

Welcome the American Veterans Traveling Tribute as they

team up with the U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Service for a
special Naturalization Ceremony for members of the U.S.
military and others as they become America’s newest citizens!

Additional event elements host recruiting teams that deliver


information to the community on careers in law enforcement,
public service and the military. Vendors and public agencies
deliver resources, information and products / services to help
families and the community prepare for, react to and recover
from a variety of natural disasters and homeland emergencies.

Participation: The American Heroes Aviation Network invites the following organizations
to inquire and register for free presentation / participation space:
 Helicopters only from military, law enforcement, fire and public / private EMS
/ ENG operators.
 Public agencies and non-profit organizations with information / resources on
community emergency preparedness, family first-aid and civilian readiness.
 Regional Search & Rescue teams involved in all public service areas.
 Space is also available for private parties / vendors with event theme-
appropriate material at a nominal fee.
