Summer Internship Report Guidelines

Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna

Institutional Area, Near Mithapur Bus stand, Patna-800001, Bihar (India).

1.0 Introduction

Summer internship provides the students with an opportunity to work in an organization and
have a bird’s eye view of the relevance and utility of the various management theories learnt
in the class. It also potentially lands them in decision-making situations, thus forcing them
back to their books, intellect, and intuition to arrive at the best possible solution for a
problem. Thus the summer internship is an interface where theories are enlivened to action.

It is impractical to lay down specific regulations on preparation, form and content of summer
internship report. However, some general guidelines have been listed below to provide the

appear inside the margins.

covers strong enough to resist potential damage caused by bending or knocking. Twin-ring,
spring-back and spiral binders are not acceptable, as reports bound in these ways often do not
stand the test of time.
