I worked helpfully with the Biggest and Largest Library in Sub Sahara Africa in Ahmadu Bello University
“Kashim Ibrahim Library” Where I first volunteer to work for them by helping the ICT unit in setting up an
E-Library for both undergraduates and Post-graduates of the school. The library is one of the biggest in
Africa with the challenge of converting and reaching out to student and the world electronically. I
voluntarily work with them to achieve that. I helped in diverse area, such as the networking (Cabling,
Routing, Switching etc), Setup (Computer Installation, Computer Setup, etc) and Repair. After which it
hard great impact on the student performance and ease their access to materials. And we got feedback
from the student through our mail box.

When I volunteered to work with Kashim Ibrahim Library they were in lack of so many resources to setup
E-Library for the student but they where having up to 50 systems and some networking resources to I
help them to setup an E-library with the limited resources they have which made the librarian and
student happy and help in making life easy for student.

When I was setting up the library despite the limited resources, I had to make sure that am setting up a
standard library as well as keeping to networking protocol. Its was so memorable because I was able to
make an impact from the little resource.
