Expession of conversation that speech therapy use if we want to interview with HRD at
Hospital
Hospital HRD : Hello. Good afternoon. I am Mr. Horwitz and I will be the one
interviewing you today. Are you ready?
Speech Therapy : Of course. Good afternoon, sir. How are you? (Tentu saja. Selamat
 siang, pak. Apa kabar Anda?)
Hospital HRD : I’m good, thank you. Let’s start with the most basic question.
Could you tell me a little bit about yourself?
Speech therapy : Of course. I graduated from University of Indonesia with speech
therapy major in 2014. I have been working at a local hospital for two
years as a speech therapist and enjoying every second of it. Other than
my career, I’m also active on a non-profit organization called therapist’
Calling which helps people, especially people with speech and
swallowing disorders.
Hospital HRD : So you love being a speech therapy ? Why did you first decided that
you wanted to be a speech therapy ?
Speech therapy : I do, I really love being a speech therapy. I actually have dreamed of
becoming a therapist since I was in elementary school. The speech
therapy there was so caring and it made me feel stronger even though I
was sick. I wanted to be the one who gave my patients the energy and
the positivity to get healthy again.
Hospital HRD : Alright. You also mentioned that you have worked for 2 years as a
speech therapist. During your experience, have you ever come across a
patient that wasn’t satisfied with your care?
Speech Therapy : Of course. I believe it’s a normal thing to encounter in this line of job.
But what I did is I try to assess what went wrong. Maybe they act like
that because of their own problem, or maybe it’s because of me. If it’s
because of me i would take time to reflect and try to be more
understanding towards my patients.
Hospital HRD : Okay. So, last question. Tell us why we should hire you?
Speech Therapy : I believe that I could contribute a lot to your hospital and that all of my
energy and care would totally be focused on helping and taking care of
my patients.
Hospital HRD : Alright. That’s about it. Do you have any question?
Speech Therapy : Maybe I would just like to ask about the work hours ?
Hospital HRD : We work in shift here, so there’s 2 shifts, day and afternoon . Your
shift will rotate every week.
Speech Therapy : Understood. Thank you so much for having me.
Hospital HRD : You’re welcome. We will let you know the result by the end on this

Speech therapy : Good morning Sir, Could you show me the headmaster room.
Headmaster : Are you one of student parent’s at this school ?
Speech therapy : Excuse me sir, I am Paula fresh graduate from speech therapy major. I
need to meet the headmaster of this shool
Headmaster : Well its good, i ran into you here. I am Fred the headmaster of
Pelita Bangsa disability school
Speech therapy : Really, Nice to meet you Sir.
Headmaster : What are you doing in here ms Paula ?
Speech therapy : I want to apply to be a speech therapist in this school
Headmaster : Ok, to become a therapist in this school. First you need to enter the
training session
Speech therapy : Ok sir, thanks for your information
Training section : Good morning, Iam Lucy. Part of the training officer of this school. I
will be assisting you with your training assigment.
Speech theraphy : Nice to meet you mrs Lucy, so what i should do ?
Training section : Well, you have gotta learn about our practice to our disability kids at
this school. We have rules for everything in Pelita Bangsa disability
school
