MANUAL TRANSMISSION
The gearboxes on the TRAKKER are all about er gonomics and
perfor mance . The manual gearbox comes in 16-speed var iants.
The innovative 16-speed ZF Ecosplit 4 is equipped with a
servo-shift system for safer, more comfor table dr iving.

EUROTRONIC AUTOMATED TRANSMISSION

As well as manual gearboxes, the TRAKKER offer s all the technological
excellence of Eurotronic automated transmissions, which
enhance dr iver comfor t with their steer ing-column-mounted shift
lever. They offer fully automatic and semi-automatic modes: you
choose which is best for the situation you’re in. With Eurotronic ,
the engine always r uns in its most fuel-efficient r ange , making the
vehicle better and safer to drive .

The decompression engine brake on the Cur sor engines, combined

with the action of the va ria ble-geometry or waste-g ate
turbo, depending on engine variant, enables you to slow the vehicle
down with less recour se to the ser vice brake and hence less demand
on the wear par ts , thus extending maintenance inter vals, electronically
controlled by ABS and EBL systems (for optimising brake force
according to load), and ASR (anti-slip regulation) as an option.

ROBUST FRAMES
The fr ames of the TRAKKER are made of high-yield-strength steel,
available in two thicknesses: 7.7 mm for applications where tare
weight is a pr ior ity, and 10 mm for the heaviest duty.
The suspension systems are also highly robust and come in sever al
types: mecha nical with pa ra bolic or semi-elliptical
lea f springs for enhanced comfor t.

Constr uction wor k makes big demands on you and your vehicle ,
but the upgr aded COMFORT of the TRAKKER will keep you
going hour after hour. The efficient air conditioning system and
the sound-proofing of the cab ensure top quality of life on board,
even in the most adver se conditions.

The TRAKKER is available with three ca b versions:

day cab (HI-LAND) with standard roof, and sleeper cab
(HI-TRACK ) with low or high roof. And even the day cab
ver sion offer s plenty of space behind the dr iver’s seat. All the cabs
feature the functional and er gonomic new dashboard, made
with top-quality, non-reflective , soft-touch mater ials. The controls
have been re-positioned around the dashboard and centr al area,
to make them easily visible and accessible without r aising your
back from the seat. The new floor is covered with wear-resistant,
easy-to-clean mater ial. The layout of the inter ior offer s outstanding
pr acticality: the overhead windscreen stor age has plenty of stor age
compar tments, and you’ll find other cubby holes in the door s.

wheel, ne w upholstery a nd the ne w comforta ble
bunk to make you feel at home wherever you are; not to
mention the centr al stor age console , and even more space
behind the dr iver’s seat for clothes hooks.

a nd superior driver comfort.
THE CURSOR 13 is ideal for the most demanding applications
in the toughest environments and most adver se conditions.
Available on 380, 420 and 440 HP ver sions, it deliver s high
torque at low engine speed, thanks to the waste gate turbo
system on 380 HP and 420 HP ver sions and to the var iable
geometr y turbine on 440 HP ver sion. The result is an improved
acceler ation and dr iveability and an increased dur ability of the
clutch and the gearbox. With displacement of 12,880 cm 3 and
in-line 6-cylinder architecture , the Cur sor 13 also meets EURO 3
emissions standards. The in-line 6-cylinder architecture with
overhead camshaft and rear-mounted timing gear gener ates less
noise a nd vibration, while ensuring fluid responsiveness
in ever y situation, with obvious benefits for comfor t and engine
life . Ever y detail of the Cur sor engines has been designed for
maximum efficiency: aluminium piston heads facilitate heat
disper sal; low-roughness cylinder liner s minimise fr iction; and the
four valves per cylinder maximise the efficiency of air flow.
The TRAKKER also mounts a revolutionar y, third-generation
INTARDER to fur ther reduce demands on the ser vice brakes.
That’s how the TRAKKER pushes back the frontier s of the possible,
while ensuring unprecedented safety and reliability.
