TOPIC 1: The World of Work

The World of Work is a curriculum for children that helps them to develop their skills, strengths,

interest and values. At their early age, they can identify and develop their unique abilities for

their self and future careers. The pandemic has influenced the worldwide work market and the

universe of work and explore the downstream effects on specialists' prosperity all throughout the

planet. Laborers in all nations at all degrees of improvement have been influenced. Today, the

changes in the world of work made many people to become more productive on how they can

cope up in this new reality in the world of work that we are facing.

The World of Work made me realize how important for us to know yourself more, to determine

our skills and strengths, and to develop yourself for the future. Understanding these things will

help us to have a great opportunity for the future and it will contribute on our success. Based on

my job experienced before, I have learned that things are getting more valuable in life, I learned

to value and appreciates what I have even the smallest things. This experience helps me in my

development as person or a student by learning something new to me that I can may apply in my

daily life. Through to this experience I learned to follow things and learned to value and care

others not only my family members but also to the people who surrounds me. I became more

confident to explore more things in life specially to look forward for my future career. I learned

in a great deal about polished skill, defining objectives and what to accomplish in certain work

related circumstances. I think going through this practicum experience got me to turn into

somewhat more positive about the work I do. This will likewise help in the future as I am more

ready for what will be generally anticipated in a workplace.

The world of work is very useful learning experience for all the students to have an opportunity

to learn about what work is like or what it takes to be successful in the workplace which may

lead to them to become more competent, reliable, competitive, and successful professionals in

our country.

Overall, the World of Work is a life-changing opportunity for every child to experience this kind

of curriculum not only to know more about their selves but also to have a focus on their target

career in the future to become one of the successful professionals in the country. It will provide

employees with opportunities to design and grow their own experience, which will help attract

and engage a thriving workforce; and it will help our youth to identify and more efficiently

address critical talents, skills, and capabilities needed across the world.
