On the Philippine setting, which among these sectors would be applicable and be used to
develop products for the improvement of tourism services in the country? 

Based on the website i’ve read, all the said sectors are really beneficial to the tourism industry to
the different parts of the country, Philippines. Sports Tourism really caught my attention.
Olympics 2021 held from July 23 to August 8 in the capital of Japan, Tokyo we all watched how
the Filipinos athletes made name in this said competition. Historically, sports activities,
particularly events, have been arranged by sporting organizations solely for the purpose of sport.
Maximizing the tourism potential of events has not always been a top priority for organizers,
sometimes resulting in commercial failure. The Philippines is known for many things, but its
numerous attractions and apparent passion for sports among its people are the fundamental
building blocks that make the country a strong contender for recognition as one of the world's
top sports tourism destinations.

Sports Tourism in the country does not really draw attention from many but I can say it draws
the attention of the wealthy people. I can say that Filipinos are born natural athletes. I think you
don't have to be a pro athlete to participate. Example, to try the waters of adventure sports, you
simply need to be physically fit and have an adventurous attitude. Before beginning the
activities, beginners may receive instruction or orientation. These adventurous destinations test
the body and provide an exciting break from everyday life.

In this perspective, sports tourism is a type of sustainable tourism that improves local people's
well-being, has beneficial social impacts, and boosts destination marketing power. Local people
will profit from the infrastructure created for sports tourism, and the society's sports culture will
develop as a result. The social advantages of tourism will be maximized if locals and tourists
participate in collaborative sporting activities. If these sporting events attain a particular level of
quality and participant satisfaction, attendees will become loyal to the events over time. Sporting
activities also help to strengthen the destination's brand. For destination marketing, branding is a
powerful tool. Sporting events associated to tourism are appealing to locations, and when well-
planned, they can bring strategic advantages in destination management.
