It is indeed a great pleasure, privilege, and opportunity to express my deep sense of

gratitude to my research supervisor Professor Dr. Tapash Mohanta for his kind

guidance, enthusiastic encouragement and highly valuable and constructive

suggestions. In spite of his busy academic and administrative activities, he has given

me valuable time when I faced problems in developing my research work. Without his

able guidance and constructive suggestions it would not have been possible for me to

complete the thesis within the stipulated period. I will remain forever grateful to him.

I am equally grateful to the Head of the Department of Philosophy of Raiganj University

and the faculty members of that department for their constant support in completing

this thesis. I learnt a lot from them during my Ph.D. course work.

This research is a product of a joint partnership between Raiganj University and

UttarBangla University College (UUC) and I am very grateful to be a part of this

partnership. In this regard I express my deep sense of appreciation to the Honorable

support it would not have been possible for me to work and complete the research work
